A bit of a sh!tpost response.
Unless you were implying that having the most score increases my exp gain, which is true, but i already 1st MVP most of my matches that i'm in and it's still quite slow.
Is there a faster method to it, other than just playing for additional 20 or so hours?
You can see if you can set up some private matches to just farm XP - you'll need to find at least 3 others to do so.
Otherwise, you're stuck using the XP rune and grinding.
Edit: Kudos on being the first completionist I've seen with a private profile - I'll save my usual rant about epeening cheevo hunters :D
I've only completed a couple a games on 100%, mostly they are games i really appreciated.
Dark souls 3,The Witcher 3 and Modern Warfare 2.
And i only recently changed my profile to private, though i didn't display my completionism there regardless.
In terms of exp farming lobbies, i don't know any folks who play Doom MP. If you have someone to recommend i'd be happy.
Just start a new thread with "MP boosting" or something in the title.
You will get trolled, fair warning.
Honestly, while it may take more time in game just to grind, it will probably take less overall time than trying to form a boosting team.
Just make sure you are getting as many bonuses as possible in each match. Airborn kills, glory kills, switching weapon types to get all the bonuses from each (and chances to unlock the armor you need for achievements early), and other stuff like Bunny Hopper (most jumps in a match) are pretty easy ways to bump up your XP gains. Every kill is an easy opportunity for the +25 XP from Quickdraw (making a kill with two different weapons).
Thanks to the 6.66 reset and the bugged profile resets in the past, I've had to work up to max level 5 times. Usually takes 10-15 total hours of playing. 20 if you are having a bad streak with few medals and commendations.
Am i even allowed to make such a thread here?
There have been many of them, none have been shut down, just trolled.
So I would assume so.
I'll try.
I've reached prestige 1 and already grown tired of the multiplayer.
Just want to get those last 2 achiemevents and move on heh.
I mean, I'd recommend playing with some better players - once you start to experience the skill ceiling, the game gets a lot more engaging.
But to each his own :D
I wish you luck either way.
