Multiplayer achievements are BS

I love achievements but I hate when they shove the stupid multiplayer ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ down my throat. I like to complete achievements on games I really enjoy and Doom is no exception. But it's a complete chore to try and get any of the multiplayer achievements mostly because the multiplayer sucks beyond all compare, especially compared to how fun the single player is.
Just needed to rant after realzing that I'm never going to complete all the achievements for this game.

Achievements are for the game as a whole, not for whatever mode you personally prefer.

I hate achievements in RPGs that are related to certain weapon types or builds, but they all have them. It makes me play a style I find unimmersive and kills my fun.

I still think they make sense. They aren't meant to be easy to get, since they are separate from the functioning of the game and offer no relevant benefit.

Play a Multiplayer Match with a piece of Robotic Armor equipped

Beauty is Pain
Play a Multiplayer Match with a piece of Cyber-Demonic armor equipped

You need to play until echaon 8 I think, unlss you do some challenge and unlock little before.

I'm so close to getting he last achievement.
I'm losing the will to live.
Matchmaking has been ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me over so damn hard and as I found out a lot of people are "stacking" teams and obviously i'm not on theirs... so in the last 2 days, played about 60-80 games and won like 10.
I can't till this is over so i can leave this ♥♥♥♥ heap.

First is keep plugging away and get better - about 80% of the pubstomp teams are useless chumps who can't stand up to a competent player.

Second is to exit the scene, and never live up to your potential.

Either way is fine, but don't blame anyone but yourself for what you make of the experience.

multiplayer achievements are problematic in another way. when you buy an old game and there is literally no one left playing it gets hard to complete, like you would need some friends or helpers. thinking of doom 3 here. even worse are timely limited achievos like in left for dead 2 or others. thats the greatest nonsense of all time. i have to admit i enjoyed hunting the achievements in doom 4 though. just the grind for the mentioned last 2 (the 2 high level armour parts) was much too long in my opinion.

for real. especially when no one plays the multiplayer anymore. It's physically impossible to complete the achievements.
