Weapon wheel not working with xbox controller

so im playing with an xbox elite controller and i can access the wheel but i cant change weapons. no matter what button or stick i use it does nothing. any help?

I'm having the exact same issue. I'm wondering if this has to do with steam loading a controller profile for the game.

think ima try loading it in big pic mode and see if i can mess with the controller settings

I play Doom on controllers any shooter requires it on laptop.

I fixed it by turning off Xbox confuguration support(Using a 360 controller).

On the Steam browser go to Settings>controller>general controller settings>uncheck Xbox Configuration Support.

I had turned it on trying to get another game to work properly. Controller works fine without it.
