Do you have audio running through HDMI or multiple devices? disable sound through HDMI if not needed.
Have you tried different audio drivers from your audio device manufacturer/motherboard maker website or the realtek ones from their own website, do you use any other things that modify sound on the system?
Either it's a crap fix or this game's sound mixing is trash some sounds are slightly muffled, and a few higher pitched (i guess) sounds are distorted. I don't have the patience for this type of ♥♥♥♥ so i refunded it but i hope the others that feel this problem will find a solution.
Changing the audio to 48kHz 24/bits is the fix if you have problems with sounds not playing or if you have fast forwards animation taunts. It doesnt change how the audio is in the game.
Did you try googling your problem ?
Hey man, thanks for the reply. Yes I have, this was one of the first things I did after a few hours of play. I've tuned my sound settings to the ones you have suggested, as well as +1 and -1 on the scale. I've even tested a new speaker set up and 2 different head sets. It's clearly not hardware related, or at least anything I can identify. Truly stumped at this point :( Maybe I'll just have to play the game on low(er) volume. Aside from the sound it seems really fun. Thanks
Ironically, when googling this problem, this thread is the first result. Kinda strange as your advice is to go google the problem, which is what I've just.
You look like a right numpty now don't you? Yes....
It's not clearly not hardware related, you forgot the most important piece of hardware, the soundcard. If you're using an onboard soundcard, it's probably the culprit, my onboard sound is absolutely terrible -- it crackles and has noise and is ultimately terrible. The fix for me was picking up an external USB soundcard and my sound is fantastic in everything I do. Alternative is a turtlebeach or a soundblaster; but you can't rule out hardware if you didn't try a new audio adapter.
"it's actually such a super simple fix but i'm not gonna tell you because you can google it!" i don't care if i'm necroing this was the google result you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ snide ♥♥♥♥
