Skip Intro Logo Screens....

Right now I use “+com_skipIntroVideo” ... yes, it works, BUT, it seems to just block the intro screens and does nothing to speed through the proccess or "skip" them... any ideas?

try +com_GameMode 1 Instead

Change to 2 for Multiplayer and 3 for SnapMap, Remove your other launch option of course.

That just bypasses the main menu and goes directly to the game mode. I'm looking to get TO the main menu faster... thanks though.

Or use the Doom launcher found in this forum. It really speeds up loading for me.

That just bypasses the main menu and goes directly to the game mode. I'm looking to get TO the main menu faster... thanks though.

You can use that and then press ESC, should bring you back to the Main Menu with no problem, Have been using this launch option for a while now.

+com_GameMode 1 and hitting ESC to get back to the main menu works a little better.

That's it. Make sure you grab the one close to the bottom. Not the top. Not sure why you couldn't find it here.

I'm surprised that Valve hasn't killed the thread for it.

I would not trust anything coming from p0rt, and based on his insane posts, I doubt mods do either.
