steam error application load error 3:0000065432
I only got this error whilst trying to run Skyrim special edition and DOOM.

I had successfully run DOOM twice before this error started popping up.

I looked into all the forums, even of different games with the same error code.

None of the fixes have worked.

I am at a point that I cannot play my purchased game at all!!!!

I am desperate to solve this now as I have been trying to for the past month....

Is it 3:0000065432?
This error is often caused by an antivirus blocking a program on your comptuer. You can troubleshoot this issue by following the steps below:

Uninstall any custom textures or mods you have installed.
Run the game and Steam as administrator:
Right-click on the Steam shortcut or launcher and select Properties.
Navigate to the Compatibility tab.
Check the Run this program as an administrator checkbox.
Click Apply, then OK.
Verify the integrity of your Game in Steam:
Open Steam.
From the Steam Library, right-click on Fallout 4 and select Properties.
Navigate to the Local files tab.
Click Verify integrity of game cache and allow the process to complete.

This I found on several other posts relating to this error (sorry for missing the 3).

Unfortunately I tried this already twice and failed.

I even tried a complete re-installation of steam and the game itself in order to try and solve it.

Furthermore I now do not have more than one directory.
This error message is also associated with non official versions of Doom,
Are you running a cracked version?

This will not work as the problem persisted beyond the system restore point....

Running the game as administrator helped me to launch it. I'll see if it also plays as well.

I tried all the solutions. The issue they said it is the graphics card but I do not believe so.

The game ran flawlessly and I was playing it with the best graphics etc... No lag no nothing...
This is an error I am encountering only with the games of Bethesda

And that error is common everywhere on the net.

Is there a solution yet?

I actually found one. Sorry forgot to post it here.

I had sent it to Bethesda to provide it as a possible solution for others.

Basically the problem had cropped up right around the start of December - this is when NVidia updated the graphics driver.

SOLUTION:

I formatted my laptop (using the windows 10 feature of keeping the data) and I only installed the graphics driver till November.

RESULT:

Works like a charm, no errors, no lags, no crashes - works even better than Skyrim and DOOM has much more graphics and gore and action to load.

I will not update my graphics card as right now I can play all the games I have including DOOM.

Hope this helps!!

On a side-note, I read up a lot on this error code:

1. Its coming up with a lot of Steam games
2. Bethesda games seem to be the main ones causing these problems
3. This error is basically the computer saying: "I do not know what the problem is, but there is a problem."

So basically it can be all the solutions or it could be none. Its a trial and error process which the best people to solve it are purely programmers / good IT ppl.

Good luck!

Do you have an Nvidia driver version above 388? If so, uninstall 'em all and install the 388.
The old drivers are here:

Try the solution I listed above. This is generally being cause by updates which may render your pc/laptop unable to handle them.

In the end I upgraded to a full fledged PC and have no issues at all.
