How to add bots to private match?

I setup a private DM match. No setting to add bots. Can I play with just me and them?

Hey there. I had the same issue as you; you have to go into the match settings and put in "minimum clients" to the max number of players you want in the match. I put mine as 2, and the other slot was filled by a bot. I'd imagine setting it to 8 would include you with 7 bots.

It works for DM. How do you play TDM?

Correct The patch says stock maps only and MP and TDM only. If you try one of the DLC maps "Bots" are greyed out.

How to play private, TDM with bots? No setting for that.

So with chasm TDM (which I believe is an original map) I can set minimum clients but nothing fills the spots with bots.
Is there a button I am not seeing to cause the game to fill the spots before pressing start game? As the only person in either team you get "minimum 2 people to start match" message when you try and start.
I have been messing around with the interface for 15 minutes trying any combo or order I can think of without success.
Thanks for any help in advance :) Fun game otherwise, gory, immersive feel, I am unfortunately old enough to remember playing the original on my overclocked pentium 133 at the time ha ha.
Love the always near death and out of ammo feel :)

Btw - practice mode works but I made children for lan parties and wrestling matches (I can still cheat by having 20 kg on them as yet) and want to play with them :) :)

you need to go into practice mode for that,also that necro lol

You can't seem to join someone when they are in a practice lobby so can't have a few real people and fill out with bots ??

you can do that too,just get a few people in a private match and put it to 10(or 12 if TDM) and it should fill all empty spaces with bots

Thank you Willhelm, my premade has come home now so tried but servers are not available. I guess the issue of the dedicated servers being swamped.
