I never said it should be made too difficult, but really the whole fight amounted to me never letting go of the mouse button and occasionally avoiding a few rockets.
Well, some people love a challenge, some people just love to be a badass doomslayer blasting demons. ;)
You can always make your own challenge, just don't use that rune.
Whenever an element of the game becomes exploitable, people say 'oh just don't use it', but it's a design flaw. I like the idea of having infinite ammo as long as I stay untouched, but that particular battle was made too easy by it.
Maybe it's not so much a problem with the rune as it is with the cyberdemon who is very spammable
Works pretty much like the last upgrade for weapons that you only get by meeting certain criteria with it
the runes are not there because of using for exploits they are there for setup ur own playstyle so use it if u like it or dont use it if u dont like it. so it isnt a poor argument its the meaning of runes not at least u only can use three of them...
i like to play with the airmovement rune, the speed up for glory kill and gimme some armor for glory kills :)
now u can say this combo is also overpowered because u can move through the hordes of demons like a chainsaw through paper
ultra violins
Okay, sarcastic joking aside, Rich Get Richer can be very OP, but only if you're good enough to avoid damage all the time. Since I usually play on nightmare, I can rarely keep my armor level high enough to take advantage of it. I prefer In-flight Mobility and Blood Fueled most of the time.
I like to imagine it's the same Doom but with violins playing the Mick Gordon OST in the background all the time.
When battling normal demons - yes. When fighting one big guy - yeah avoiding Cyberdemon attacks wasn't a problem.
I just started ultra violins and it feels just right. I'll try Nightmare the next time I decide to replay Doom
I've missed that one. Which level's it on?
