Your argument is invalid.
Remember the consumer pc market is, and always will be a niche.
Your problem is that you're using an older, slower not to mention undervolted processor AND a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gpu.
That i7 is only dualcore. It's fast but it can't multitask at all. Even my old 6350 can easily outpace it.
Your laptop can play plenty of games, probably some newer ones too with a newer gpu. But it won't be able to play anything cpu heavy.
ye maybe as soon as quantum computer is useable. then we dont need computers at our homes/buildings at all, only wireless terminals to access the quantum computer ;)
but on the other hand a mobile version will allways be less powerfull in favor of robustness...
and because its much more profitable to produce cheaper mobile chips and selling it for double prices to stupid people :P
(just to get sure i dont mean ppl who really need a laptop for business and not just to carry it from the couch to the bed ;) )
at this point, thanks to all stupid idiots buying laptops for gaming or using consoles :P
that slows down the hardware developement immensely! without gaming consoles and "gaming" laptops we would already have realistic looking graphics, animations, realistic synthetic voices, advanced automatic intelligence and calculation powers beyond ur imagination etc. if there were only pcs for gaming the chip manufacturers could invest much more resources and focus in developement for less different hardware and also the software developer could use much more powerfull hardware and also they dont need to care of a never changing system and the new hardware at the same time (a console barely can be used to develope new software technologies because its not made for that, its designed for games in a very narrow frame). also prices of hardware parts would drop much faster.
ppl are just dump because they let the industry to subliminally suggest to them to buy less and cheaper for higher prices for the greed for money...
DONT BUY THAT S-H-I-T IF U DIDNT REALLY NEED IT!!! IF U WANNA PLAY GAMES NEVER BUY A LAPTOP, BUY A GAMING PC INSTEAD!!! more u cant get...
never ever a mobile version will be compareable to its desktop version but will allways cost more money (because its mobile. hey yeah its mobile! MOBILE IS NICE because its mobile!!!!!! :P)
never trust to seller lies... they are all money w-h-o-r-e-s ;)

<shrug> As discussed earlier, your system doesn't meet the minimum hardware requirements for GPU and CPU. That it runs at all, even on the lowest settings, is good imo.
This is an idiotic statement in an era where the mobile 10-series GPUs are basically identical to desktop parts. Hell, even last gen there was no shortage of gaming laptops with full desktop GPUs in them.
nVidia has even created a new market segment (the MX100 and MX150 mobile GPUs) to actually separate their gaming and non-gaming mobile GPUs - and even then, the MX150 (basically identical to a GT1030) can handle a lot of modern titles at at least Nintendo Switch or better level of detail/performance.
@op if u rly wanna keep ur laptop then keep it but buy a real pc for gaming ;)
u dont need a fingerprint sensor or other stuff to play games, it just have to work properly for gaming.
u have to understand that games are one of the complexest softwares u can get. rarely a piece of software use as much hardware and techiques as a game...
...so it isnt doom what get hammered down by ur laptop, its ur laptop get hammered down by doom ;)
Yeah, honestly ignore that ♥♥♥♥.
Laptops have their place, and they can be decent or even good for gaming.
I would say though, that a mobile GTX 650 is well below minimum spec for Doom - it's slower than a desktop GTX 460, which is the slowest card I have tested in Doom, and barely manages over 30ish FPS at 720p.
but seriously u cant expect every game is runnin like the same. in fact every game has its own requirements and doom uses very new technologies and it runs rly smooth and nice compared to other games in its class.
what ur trying is like u put a ferrari sign on the bonnet of a vw golf and expect u can drive 320kmh/200mph and then u complain about that it doesnt work ... if u wanna drive 320/200 u simply have to buy a appropriate car
the only help u can get is the recommendation to buy a new and a way better pc.
not because we dont want to help u, its because there is no other option.
if gta5 runs at 30fps then its rly good to get 5fps in doom (or 60 if u look at a wall).
so if u wanna play new games in future u have to buy a better pc... u have no other choise!
and if u do so, think about to buy a proper pc for gaming (and maybe home entertainment too) and use ur laptop for business only
