How are people with 1060s finding the Vulkan performance?
For me it's no better than OpenGL. On maximum settings at 1080p I'm getting 130-170FPS. Whilst that's obviously great, I'd expect a lower level API to be surpassing OpenGL....

Vulkan derives from Mantle, which is an API developed by AMD. Better get an AMD GPU.

The bettter performance of Vulkan over OpenGL becomes more obvious, when using hardware that is a little more at the lower end performance-wise.

I have a 1060 3gb and I have a noticeable improvement of about 15 fps.

EVGA 1060 6G Superclocked & i5 6600k OC @ 4.1Ghz finding no difference in Vulcan and OpenGL. I expected that since AMD cards would get the most performance enhancement from Vulkan but also lower-end cards, even Nvidia, might also.
Running every highest (either ultra or nightmare) 1080p @ 150-199fps SP and MP

I think you need to finish the game once first. Or key in a console command

Only a couple settings have a nightmare option. Texture quality and... I don't remember the other one(s?).

With a 1060 you can max everything out without a care. Unless you have a 3GB version. In that case just don't use nightmare textures.

Is he has 3gb version, he can't set settings to nightmare without using the console.

That's new, isn't it? Didn't they use to just give you a warning when you selected nightmare settings? I have a 6GB version so I don't know.
