Report a translation problem
might just be borders that prevent you from just walking over them.
The issue is sort of hard to reproduce in DOOM, but I'll see if I can play it for a while and grab a screenshot if I run into this.
Here's a couple images of a trouble spot I just found. This is the door near the end of Foundry. The little ledge on the floor is quite small, but I've found that it can be a little picky on whether it lets me through without a problem or stops me in my tracks.
It's just bad level design or parhaps with the game engine itself? It's usually near a doorway of some kind. A little jump over solves the problem.
You're right though, it behaves like an invisible little step or small ledge on the floor.
