Hey, is there someone who playing with 1440x900 monitor?
I have trouble with launching game with native monitor resolution, and i want to see your config file locating in C:\Users\<YOUR NAME>\Saved Games\id Software\DOOM\base\DOOMConfig.local Upload it or open with notebook and copypaste all.

i was going to but mine is 1600x900
got a laptop with 1440x900 (16:10 aspect ratio) but its ten years old

man, if you can, please, download DOOM Demo version on your laptop and share with your config file. But it could also not launch, so it can be just wasting yourtime and internet...

Oh, i only know saw that this is not fullscreen mode, can you set it fullscreen?

Eh... It's just wont setting 1440x900 in fullscreen
It's windwowed mode without a borders on the window but in 1440x900

Try messing with the in-game settings, or changing 'fullscreen' to 0.

Hold on, so you have a 1440x900 monitor, but that resolution isn't launching in full screen?

yea, cause i have GTX 1070 with only DVI-I and HDMI (digital signal) and VGA monitor (analog signal) so i gotta use "Video Converter" (HDMI -> VGA) but converter didn't use monitor native resolution (1440x900) it using he's using own (720x480)

If the monitor is stuck on 720x480, that could be the problem. I think Doom interacts oddly with the default screen resolution, or more so than most games. I can't remember the exact setting, sorry, but if you can't fix the monitors resolution, there is an option in the Nvidia control panel which should allow the resoluton to be independent.

already done, lol, but it wont fix most games like doom, cs:go, terraria.
