Can I have some cheats, please?

I'm a casual gamer. When work is done, I enjoy blowing some stuff up, playing only with a multi button mouse, because I need the left hand for the beers and cigarettes. I don't need multiplayer, I neither need nor want a challenge.

Since DOOM ist the first FPS that I ever played that has no inbuild singleplayer cheats - could you please implement some fun stuff like unlimited ammo or unlock weapons/mods? Can not be difficult, console is already there.

Go to console using tilde (~)
type the following: devMode_enable 1

Important Disclaimer: The game does mark you for cheating the moment you touch the tilde key, even if it’s by accident. Doing this has two negative effects on your savefile…
A) On a ‘tainted’ game save you can no longer collect UAC Marineguy Collectibles / Dolls.
B) If you have a ‘tainted’ game save, on a clean game save you can collect UAC Marineguy Collectibles / Dolls again. However, you can not collect Classic DOOM Levels on any save game anymore. In order to get Classic DOOM Levels you must have no ‘tainted’ game saves at all on your DOOM 2016 install.

it does mark only the one savegame in which u are enable devmode... and only by enable devmode, not for open the console!
ive opened the console several times and also tryout some regular commands without my savegame get marked...

Maybe I should have mentioned that I know about devmode and godmode. Sorry for that, thanks anyway!

But godmode alone is even to me a little bit too boring^^ Are there other working cheats out there? Maybe unlimited ammo or unlock weapons/mods? And yes, I googled, and the results I found said yes, it was possible until an update last year, but not anymore. Haven't tried it, though.

And yes, I'm playing FPS mouse only. I love my Razer Naga.

Why not just play the game on the lowest difficulty? Then it should be possible to do it even though you are noob and playing with one arm tied to your back.

I didn't until now, because my google search said me it doesn't work anymore. I did now, and the only cheat working is "god". Anything else just returns an "unknown command xyz".

Did you try cvarAddg_permaInfiniteAmmo 1 ?
