DOOM

Aiming feels weird
And yes, I have disabled mouth smoothing in launch options.

It's just that I have troubles getting accurate shots in close range for some reason. Not just on mobile targets, just getting an anamy that is nearby in my sights is often harder than in many other shooters.

I always make my sensitivity so that moving the mouse to the edge of the matt turns the character by 180 degrees, which is exactly how I adjusted it in Doom, hence I have no problems with turning and engaging targetes at medium-long range.

But I almost always have oversteering when I'm trying to aim at the enemies which are in my face. Anyone else getting this? Is it maybe just a placebo due to the fast pace of the game?

Disable vsync. Make sure you're running over 60 fps all times. Cap your frame rate with rivatuner at a frame rate you don't drop under.

Input lag. Especially when the frame rate drops under the refresh. Although, if you're using adaptive vsync, then I guess it might be ok

Do you have this problem on any other game besides doom

Stable 60 with Vsync, average 130 without but it jumps between 120 and 200 so I'd like to keep it stable.

Only tested RE7 demo and Killing Floor 2, no such issues

Which is exactly why I said use RTSS to cap it at something you don't drop under. Cap it at 80 or 100 fps.

Check your video scaling in doom settings, when I changed mine from 80 to 100 with my new video card I noticed the mouse sensitivity changed as well. Even though the mouse setting was the same. I changed it back to 80 and I was good after that.

This helped)))

Kinda sucks because I'm used to it being more comfortable when just using Windows but oh well.

Thanks!
