Sound issue with bluetooth device Bose QuietComfort 35
Hey,

Love the game but I am having serios issues with how it reacts with my Bose QuietComfort 35.
I have Bose QuietComfort 35 connected with my laptop and when I start the game all I hear is static. When I start the mission then I begin to hear the normal game sounds but if I go on to the rune levels I loose the sound again.

One way I found that it works to get everything working is to alt+tab to a different application and select something else for the sound and then select back Bose QuietComfort 35.

Is there anyway I can fix this in a permanent way? Thanks!

I am on windows 10 pro 64bit

I know this is old, but it's an issue with bluetooth/bose mic/audio switching and the way Doom initiates the Mic. Pretty annoying.

Only fix I've found is to disable the Mic in the devices and printers menu in windows. Need to disable two functions. You won't be able to use qc35 mic anymore.

In windows 10, right click setting on the bluetooth icon:

1. Click devices & printers.
2. Right click qc35 icon, select properties
3. Go to hardware tab, select "Headset(bose qc35 Handsfree)" click properties button.
4. Click change settings, driver tab, disable the device.
5. Repeat for "Bose QC35 Handsfree" without "Headset( )"

Yes! Thanks for this. I've been trying to get these awesome headphones working with Doom for ages! Right on!
