It does kind of seem that way, but I don't think you can actually bhop.

Yeah i noticed that it wont build up insane speed like on half life :P btw can i record with GeForce experience?

Bhop is dead in modern games. It's implemented but it's just normal movement that anyone can do. It's not like the days of quake 3 and wolfenstein enemy territory where you actually needed perfect timing and momentum to do Bhop.

Not really, no. You can use the in-flight mobility rune in the campaign to get speed and mobility through jumps but otherwise I don't think there's any other way. I guess we'll have to wait for the Quake Champions release before we can indulge in our bunny hopping fantasies yet again.

Don't hold out too much hope.

Instead of being byproducts of primitive physics, QC's implementation of classic movement is emulated - which means that it functions in a very artificial feeling manner.

It exists to be sure, but not in the same way. You'll understand when you play it.
