Honestly, it's pretty great that you are thinking through all of this - more than most people would do. However, if you were certain of your findings you wouldn't have headers with question marks, so I figure you are just trying these ideas on for size.
Christian doctrine is a poor fit for DOOM lore. For one thing, the Christians are far, far more retentive of their semiotics than the DOOM art dept. They've had a lot more experience! You can literally get lost in all of the minute details of the symbols and rites used in Christianity without ever gaining a single dot of faith. Conversely, you could have an Everest of faith in your heart without knowing the difference between an archangel and a putto.
