Is multiplayer dead already?

Can't seem to find FFA deathmatch multiplayer games or any lobbies at all in Snapmap. As far as I can tell, my NAT settings are fine. Is there just nobody playing this already?

Team games on PC here in UK are fine and populated? Not sure where your from but try team play maybe?

its not as populated and kinda wasnt the selling point for this game anyway. the single player is really the only reason bought this game.

Its still plenty populated, plenty of veterans and new faces, all times of day and all days of the week.

Not a huge player base, but solid.

I googled this because I kept constantly getting disconnects, crashes, and bugs when doing multiplayer and literally just said, "♥♥♥♥ it, no wonder why multiplayer is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dead." and went to see if I was right: And I was. Lots of others getting my problems.and many left because of it, on top of that their marketting for multiplayer was ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and even now theyve not fixed connection problems since 2016. So yes, its very dead. For good reason.

Not to mention the 3 billion hour wait time to just boot up the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and load the maps which seems to have been moderately fixed now but sadly it took them a good year to fix that too. It seems to me they basically said, "♥♥♥♥ it lets throw in a patch or two and act like we care." And left it how it was. Such a shame too because Bethesda used to me my most prided company for being so modest, now they arent much better than EA sigh. I miss when companies werent money hungry ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I remember when metroid prime was affordable, gamecube was cheap af, and xbox was 200 bucks and game with 2 controllers and 2-3 games and had huge sales. Now its double that because "Its improved technology." and you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buy it. Back when the PS2 was "improved technology" and was the same exact price of the PS1 for its weight in dollar. (Inflation) At least im not one of those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ anymore

Sigh hell now the game wont even run anymore for me, no wonder nobody plays it. New patch broke the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and now multiplayer is unplayable

I play MP a couple of hours a day. Not dead at all.

MP is alive and well. Keep and eye our for members of PizZ4 CBF TZU MssMe players for they create private matches and have a really good time. When i play I always get a match. :) if ya ever want to play hit me up sometime i can DOOM with ya !

Well it was dead almost few month after launching, the revives was just because of the updates.

There is and has been a sustainable population in MP since launch.

There are many players with 1,000-2,000+ hours in MP, a feat not possible if the game were "dead".

People are dumb. They think Tf2 having only 50,000 daily max players means it is dead.

I was getting really worried about this, a little over a month ago, because the lobbies were not loading up as many players. I thought perhaps the game was at the end of it's tether, but surprisingly, it's been very active lately and each time I go on to play a match, there's always someone to play with. Not sure about the FFA but I do jump in TDM and Team Play games. At least once a day, if I'm not too busy.
