She is a very sucessfull scientist and basically a genius but fell for some promises made by insane bloodthursty deamons from hell? The scientist from Doom 3 was at least controlled by deamonic powers or something like that, but this...

Go look at how demons have been portrayed in the media in the past, take the exorcism for example.. in the exorcism, the demon can literally control her body and her mind at will

So why is it so hard to believe that a demon could convince a scientist into believing their promises? thats what demons do

Dr. Betruger and Olivia Pierce are very similar. 1 thing diff thing is, betruger never feel regret even at DOOM 3: ROE but Olivia Pierce did at last momment(at least I felt her voice was sad.)

Yes she did regret that she believed those monsters wich shows that she wasnt controlled by a deamonic power like betruger was

they refer to them all the time as deamon from hell, they know that those deamons tend to kill each other when bored, they know that they are all controlled by some sort of supermind that treads every other being like a slave but most important they dont have any security in case the deamons dont keep their promise they just trust those brutal creatures blindly, I dont say that there are no idiots on this planet that trust others blindly but Olivia is supposed to be a genius...

A demon doesnt have to control you to get you to follow. It is possible that a demon planted a seed (not a literal seed) in her brain, convincing her to believe them.

So yes she was still in control, but they could've manipulated her thought on the matter

This kids, is why you should get matters of this nature in writing. Olivia can't rely on promises, it won't stand up in court. I'm sure a large corp like UAC would have a strong legal team to bring this issue to justice, and hold those demons accountable if there was some paperwork involved in this bad deal.
