I have to say I hate the very limited choices Game Informer gives us ! In many categories, the games I find better are not mentionned.

Best MMO : two choices only (ESO or the new WoW). Just one example.
Some of the results of this Game Informer poll will not be very credible or worthwhile.

But I did vote KCD for game of the year
(what quest bugs remains are rare and minor in 2018)
(please fix The Gallows Brothers quest)

With this awful UI and Gameplay, especially when you play with a controller?
Than this awful console version (same for both X and PS) which runs even extremly poorly on the XONE-X, constant fps drops down to even the teens and frame times right from hell. Also the damn bad engine handling overall, which is quite noticeable when you compare the game with Crysis 3, which was made with more or less the same Cry 3 version. The blatant world interactions and behavior, theese for todays standards bad AI.
I could go on with the critism, but I will stop it here and am just saying that this game does not deserve a GotY award, nor version. Not until they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ finally fix those bugs, wrongdoings, stupidities etc. So therefore it is in my opinion naive from the studio to "ask" us to vote for the game, it is rather a kind of insult.


P.S.: I am not saying the game has no good sites, it has a lot like the historical accuarcy, but those negatives are simply too many to be accepted.

Aweful UI ? Really surprised to hear that.
Aweful performance (though one can fiddle settings on the PC), that is a usual criticism.
