Money For Old Rope quest, reading the (black chronicle) book does not trigger the quest

I am trying to do the Money For Old Rope quest but when i am reading the book the quest does not trigger. i tryed to move the pages also tried to re do the qeust but nothing is triggering the mission A as complete. what is going on ?

The is no trigger for it. You are supposed to read it and remember it, then go back to Herman and tell him who will be executed in what way from what you read.

yes, i did that but when i go back he acts like i havent read the book at all and tells me to go and look at it

Okay i figured it out. You need to probably rejoin the game. and also maybe you need to not have "You cant be here" thing. I had it read it and nothing happened. I saved the game and exit. I started the game went there again and did not had the cant be here thing and could read it with completing the quest. Also you need maybe to talk to the guy whos sleeping always there
