capon's family necklace bug

when i win the dice tournament, i am told that i have been given the key to the chest with the prizes, yet i receive no key in my inventory. i lockpick the chest anyway and capon's necklace does not spawn inside the chest. i even went as far as to steal everything from the chest, pickpocketed and killed literally everyone in the camp, and told anselm who sir alphonse's killer was, but no necklace.

absolutely. the guarded chest that contains a silver necklace, sword, and gloves, and should also contain the family necklace. i've looked up a video on the quest to confirm i was looking in the correct location. Necklace spawns in the video. does not spawn in my game.

Do you have any kind of inventory or item mod? This is a newly added item, so older mods won't have it as a an entry.

only mod i am using is one that adds targeting reticle when using bow. no changes to inventory and no items added/modified as far as i can tell. tried uninstalling it just in case, but no luck. also, according to the dialogue supposedly i am given the key to open the chest but i always have to pick the chest. ive tried reloading the auto save you get right when you gain access to the camp a few times. only thing i havent tried is sneaking into the camp and just breaking into the chest without announcing myself. havent tried it because that's not how i want to complete the quest. just have to wait for fix.

The "capons's family necklace" is missing in my game.
Can't even cheat it. Not found.

Is there a fix yet?

Unlocked the very hard chest by the bandit guard to find out that it is empty. Don't see any other chest in the brigand's camp. Resorted to using console command to add the necklace to the inventory to progress this broken DLC.

Correction - I found the correct chest in a room guarded by a bandit. Unlocked it and found the quest necklace.
