another alchemy table bug

so in the monastery when your posing as a monk for pious i keep getting stuck on the alchemy table because it doesnt launch me but has me hovering just high enuff off the ground that i cant use any of the ingredients i add making me unable to make potions.

Unequip the shield and try again. For some strange reason, the alchemy bench is glitchy, one way or the other, when shield is equipped. Unequipping it before approaching the bench worked for me.
