Band of Bastards - Uninvited Guests quest broken
Having some problems with the Band of Bastards DLC. After finishing the fight at the mill (I managed to convince Kuno to not wait it out) and spending some time with the others, the quest refuses to complete. I get the notification that the "talk to the members of the band" objective has been met, but nothing else happens. Basically, the quest stays active, but without objectives. In the morning, the men move back to their camp, then I cannot talk to Kuno anymore to start the third patrol.

Another, probably related anomaly is that after the mill battle, I can challenge Jan Bearman to a fistfight, and he answers something, but then it just quits the conversation. I think you're supposed to be able to continue it and start a fight. I can, however, play dice with the archer guy and sit down with Kuno and drink with them.

I have completed the quest a few releases ago in a different playthrough, and I haven't changed my mods since then. I have tried disabling all my mods except Perkaholic (because disabling that one would probably break my perks irreversibly), but I get the same outcome. I'm playing in hardcore mode, not sure if that affects anything though.

My last schnapps save was created immediately before we charge the mill, haven't tried reverting to an earlier one with no mods on.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah it's definitely not the outdated mods your using. Removing mods isn't guaranteed to fix it either. Most likely your save is toast.

Perkaholic bugs the quest!

I tested , if you use it the quest won't progress!

Just make that respec potion after disabling perkaholic and you're fine!

Thank you kindly, I'll give it a try.

You need to sit down with Kuno at the table where him and the men are drinking. This will trigger the next step in the quest.

It was indeed Perkaholic messing up the plot triggers.

I know I'm digging up an old topic, but I had the same issue, although I didn't have the perkaholic mod.

I found a solution though so I'm leaving it here just in case it could benefit other people : Just as alx.dobre suggested, you need to sit down in front of Kuno. At first, it didn't seem like I could, but I kept moving around the bench and the prompt appeared briefly. Looks like the trigger zone for the prompt is very very small (for me, I had to get behind the bench, facing Kuno, and step a little on it).

Here's to hoping that KCD2 won't be plagued with so many bugs. :steamsad:
