Poisoning the pot seemed only like a good idea when both my bow and sword skills sucked. Since I was too busy training, i didnt bother with poisoning the food pot or the wine.
In hindsight, I'd say poisoning arrows is counter productive, since at low levels it's fairly easy to miss, and the quantity of arrows that get poisoned per a potion is only 5 at a time.
2. No clue tbh. I assume it stays poisoned for a few ingame days or until you leave the area for a a while but I don´t know it for sure
3. I don´t think dropping in more poison does anything but again I don´t know it for sure. One bane poison is already enough to reliably kill everyone who eats from the pot so I think there is no point in dropping in more.
4. No idea. I have never tried this.
1) you need to be very patient and do not leave the area.
2) no solid answer but assume until the player leaves and the area respawns
3) no
4) why?
1. if you wait long enough for them to eat it, and if they fail their saving throw, and if the food they are eating does not add more health than they lose from the slow poison tick, then they should eventually succumb, (although i find arrows and axe to be far faster)
2. i don't know, my guess would be some standard value of time (100s?) or based on potion duration, or zone reload, time passing, etc - i've never had the question, but this is easy to test - put a marigold potion in Theresa's pot, and keep trying it - you can use a regular poison potion in this test, just be sure to have a Marigold potion or 3 handy while u test
3. No - afaik, a pot can only have 1 effect - again - easy to test ;)
4. if my answer to 3 is correct, adding an Apple will change the pot's effect, thus negating the effect caused by the poison - and again, easy to test
now, since you know how to test them, i look forward to the answers
as to 4:
for example when Marius is captured by bandits.
I'd like to be able to poison them, and then eat from what is now MY pot.
not the point.
