It't not unlimited though because you are constrained by how much food is available in Skalitz before you begin to starve but I've never gotten to that point even with grinding.
I don't understand this reply or how it pertains to your time in Skalitz when playing as Henry. Could you elaborate a little what you mean?
lol - good point, but i think the sheep respawn frequently enough ?
i do like that Henry consumes calories in the Skalitz Prologue even though time is stopped.
Indeed! I spend a lot of time sneaking up on the sheep, stabbing the sheep, running away from the sheep and coming back later to violate the sheep some more. The issue I have is the repetitive boredom of doing these routine activities over..... and over..... and over.
I think the issue with the different ways in which people want to approach KCD is how they feel about boredom and grinding (basically the same thing). I actually don't hate skill grinding so I'll do it but only until I get bored; after which I will kick-start the remainder of the quest objective.
And never even considered over-staying in Skalitz and opening scene... To each their own, no judgement.
And it's tricky to pull off because from the moment you activate that particular glitch, you can't save the game any more until you leave Skalitz. So if anything goes wrong (or real life interferes), you might end up loosing 2h of grinding.
Stealth is easyer, doesn't require any glitches, just go around stealth attacking everyone. So long as you don't kill them, you can repeat the process indefinitely.
Maintenance: get a sword or axe, use dads grindstone to wreck it and then fix it. Over and over.
Also, once you reach level 10 in herbalism you can apply the "leg day" perk, after which point, every herb you picks adds a slight increase to your strength so between herbalism level 10 and 20 you can increase your strength which is very handy for heavy melee weapons and bows.
I typically hang out in Skalits and do as much herbalism as I can just because it is easy and I don't feel rushed to go do something else...just kind of gets it out of the way and poisons are always a large part of my games so herbalism is important to me. Plus it seems like something a young boy (in the body of a ful grown man) would do...pick herbs to make some money and get some equipment. I don't hang out for too long though. Just kill a cow as I go by and butcher it to raise hunting...knock out or stealth kill people as the opportunity arises. Hanging out to do much beyond the herbalism is kind of a waste in my opinion. Fun to do once just to see how strong you can get...if you are into such things.
I thought that raw meat couldn't be cooked in cooking pots because in the past when I've tried to do it, all that appears in the cookin menu are the items of fruit and veg which can be cooked but no raw meat. i have some mods installed so maybe one of them is causing a bug which prevents me from cooking meat.
