Where or how do I make potions? What do I need for making potions?

You need herbs, and an alchemist workshop, go to the monastery of Sasau or Rattay, you can find both an alchemist (herbs seller) and an alchemist workshop there.

in Rattay, visit the Apothecary - on main square near church

The Apothecaries and Herbalists can sell you some herbs, some Potions, and some recipes.

Herbs (flowers, etc.) can also be gathered and sold

Henry needs to learn how to read before he can read the recipes.

rattay is not a monastory. there is an Apothecary right hand side of the bailifs building. at the back of that there is a alchemist bench

Rattay doesn't have a Monastery but an alchemist. It's next to the bigger church. If you walk past his building, you find an unlocked door leading to the alchemy station. (Walk between the alchemist and the church yard, first door on the left, a little higher than the street)

It is possible to understand the recipes without Henry learning to read. You just have to be a little creative. To me it's like a puzle.
