How do you poison wine in bandit/cuman camps?

I walk up to the wine bag, select bane potion, the menu disappears, but the bane potion isn't consumed. I thought I need to place my own poisoned wine in, so I applied bane potion to some wine and when selecting the wine bag, the poisoned wine does not appear.

So how do I actually poison the wine?

Btw I've never actually seen anyone drink from the wine bag. When do they do that?

Hey, it's been a while since I last played but I don't know if you can make the cumans drink poisoned wine. What I do know though is that you can poison their food. Just walk up to one of the pots in the camp and there should be an option to drop something into the pot.

I'm able to poison the food in the cauldron. They eat it and I've seen them die from it. After posting this thread, I've seen one Cuman drink from the wine bag. It was the same bag that I attempted to poison, but I didn't get a chance to see if it actually worked or not. I want to poison the wine bag just to change it up a bit.
