Are there infinite side quests?
I started playing and I'm only a couple of hours into it and I was wondering if there were side quests that repeat endlessly or if there are just a lot of side quests but once you finish them you can't do anything else.

Technically speaking, there are few like 3-4 quests or "activities" that can be repeatedly done. But frankly, I wouldn't really call them as a proper sidequest.
For example, you have weekly Tournament that will repeat forever. You will initially get equipment, after a while it's just money.
Same with a bow challenge (chumps) and fist fight activities which can be repeated. The bow challenge is a good way to earn some money and level up bow. But there is really no need to do fist fight activities more than once.

So generally, there are decent number of sidequests which you can only do once.
Some of the other side activities are similar but can only be done once.

There are basic additional quests, there are "activities" (repetitive and monotonous, but there are few of them). There are simply many "additional" quests. Develop "Eloquence", you will need it. You will be Couombo or Poirot in addition.

Not bad, not bad... :steamhappy:Not quite accurate, but oh well... Repeating "lessons" are very boring and tedious... You can improve your shooting in a faster way (because the damage goes to the NPC - into the skill development statistics), for example on a horse - shooting gangs from "random" encounters (stupidly jumping back and forth between two points of their respawn).

I am talking about sidequest or activities because that's the topic of discussion.
Obviously combat would be better option to increase any combat skills compared to repeated lessons.

:boarding::bow::tornbanner::RoundShield: :steamthis::steamthumbsup: ) .
theres 40 quests total (main+side)
with like 8 activities
activities are infinite
but 3 side quests are actually 1 side quest on repeat, where the objectives get repeaten multiple times per quest
