I can't progress in the main quest.

I went to the mines to check it out for Tobias Feymar. I saved Esther, and spoke with Florian. I don't know what to do to trigger further progression. Florian has no more options for speaking, and neither does Tobias Feymar. What am I not doing?

I usually check Quest Log when I feel stuck, especially when there are no map markers (hardcore mode)

I've done that. The quest log isn't helping me. It just tells me to find out where the counterfeit coins are being made. It doesn't ell me who to see about it.

I just watched that entire video. I think my game is bugged. I've spoken to Tobias. He sends me to the mines near Skallitz to investigate but he never asks me to investigate the forges, and smelters in Sassau. I don't know why. I'm getting frustrated. I have over 100 hours into this game , and I can't finish it. Thanks for everyone's help.

Did you investigate all places in Skalitz mines as requested? It is easy to miss, you need to get close to some places to actually see 'Investigate' option to appear, just visiting the places isn't enough

Not sure where you're now, on my last playthrough I didn't even talk to Florian, he somehow became irrelevant right away as I met the counterfeit guy in Sasau and talked to him, pushing the quest beyond Florian.

I did finally get into the mine, and I had the head guy arrested. I was told by Tobias Feymar to go back to Rattay. I did. Ratzig is there, along with Tobias but when I try to talk with them there is no option to talk about the arrest or the counterfeit coins.

after talking to florian, did you get the quest of following him to work? theres a guy hanging around his work, there will be no quest marker showing where florian is, or anything else
just saying in your journal to find this one specific guy stalking florian
oh and did you loot the chest behind florians boss? it has a note you need

you got into the mine, did you also get out of the mine?
now you have to get out of one very specific exits out of 5
if you take any other, like just go back the same way, youll have never left the mine according to the game
the most southern exit, get the cartographer skill to see the specific one
go there on horseback and if you make it your screen should turn black and you should be teleported to the same spot youre on but on foot

if you had a black screen when exiting the mine, you did it, if not, then youre still in the mine

I got a black screen when leaving the mine. I spoke with Florian but I never received a message to speak with him a again. I know of the npc that follows him but when I try talking with him I get no option to speak with him. I'll look for that note, Thanks.

I just got the note behind Florian's boss. Do I show this to saomebody? I get no message to do anything with it.
