That's where I keep my stuff!!!
The chest in Henry's parents house. I put a bunch of stuff in there (including the noble saddle of the horse I stole from the Cumans) before I buried them, thinking I could get it afterwards. Is that stuff lost to me?

That chest also links to the inns where you buy a bed.
The saddle has storage good for stolen stuff untill it lt loses the stolen icon but storing it in the chest is the safest place.

No it doesn't. The chest never resets but it's not linked to Henry's global chest inventory; it's separate.

either go there at night ans sneak around the battle that's usually raging in the burned down village, or come on a horse and just charge through to your parents house. Combat should drop by the time you get there (or shortly after).
I prefer doing it with a horse since that chest is usually quite full when I play.

It has to be the chest in the room you wake up in, where the cook pot is, not the storage room chest.

Seems like cumans and robbers are always fighting in Skalitza. I just enter main gate and go left by the wall till I reach inner walls. Eventually after couple of minutes they just leave leaving behind corpses you can also loot.

Thanks guys. Yeah it's the one in the cook room. I thought it'd link like other chests but was bummed when I was wrong. I read some surface stuff and made assumptions, now I need to wander into bandit territory top get my stuff. Yay. Fun being a beginner who reads too much but at the same time not enough.

the chest in the main room of Henry's parent's house, (the chest with the nails for Theresa), will exist after waking at Rattay Mill, and the chest will contain all items stored their from the Skalitz town beginning (it works, i use it).

the chest in the back storage room, (where Henry can get a book and a few other items), vanishes after the prologue, when Henry awakes at Rattay Mill

What do you keep there? I mean books don't take much space, shovel maybe?

I tend to just leave whatever cheap weapons and armour I can't carry back to Peshek on my horse. I also leave some bandages, dried foods and alcohol. The alcohol can be useful if I'm at Rattay until dusk and don't want to ride back in the dark.

There's an upstairs room with a bed across the courtyard from the burnt out tavern so I use the time to read a book, then drink loads of alcohol and sleep until dawn, then enjoy my hangover while riding my horse back to Peshek to sell all my loot.

Stolen stuff I can't sell in skalitz. I robbed the place blind. Better I get it than the Cumans and most of the Skalitz folk won't need much where they're going.
