Game doesn´t launch

As I try to start the game I get to the mini-screen with the logo, seconds later it just stops. I´ve tried modifying antivirus settings, uninstalling, restarting the laptop and steam, copying the files in Win64Shared to Win64, and some more but I still can´t even get it to start. Has anyone had the same problem and managed to fix it? Thank you.

I also have this problem, I was able to play it just fine last year so idk why it isn't working now

windows comes with default security settings. neither steam nor the game installer nor the game make any changes nor bypass whatever antivirus, security settings, folder permissions, running programs you have on your system. up to YOU to manage all that for this game and any other game/app you install.

game launcher needs to create folder
c:\users\YourWindowsLogin\Saved Games\kingdomcome
folder should contain folders profiles saves shaders
after game launcher runs and you set your graphics settings

if these files are missing

check antivirus log? might be blocking game/game launcher.

check windows security/controlled folder access.
if on add exceptions for game launcher/game.

check windows event viewer and also windows reliability history.
might be a game crash event or system related problems.

go to the steam game folder
look in kcd.log and kcd_launcher.log
might have an error msg

check if you have them installed. if not, download from MS
or the installers should be in your steam steamworks shared folder.
install with admin permission

maybe game cannot figure out your 4K 400hz unlimited fps setup.
try monitor=60hz and fps=60 and resolution=1920x1080
if that works, go faster/bigger
