GPU TEMPERATURE
It's heating up more than any other game. I've tried with all the settings and it's still the same. What should I do?

GPU: 3070
CPU: İ5 12K

Max framerate cap through Nvidia settings.

Add an external fan - put it against your PC.

Turn down graphics settings (shadows/lighting).
Set up a fan curve via MSI afterburner and undervolt if you haven't already.
The game isn't very optimized, it will run worse, and run hotter then possibly the second game for most people, as it's 8 years old and has no upscalers.
Are you quite sire that it heats for KCD more than for Mount&Blade Bannerlord ? That's tje game that keeps sending me into the danger zone,

(My solution was to set up a tpwer fam next to my hard drive, to avoid playing in warm weather, and to take ten minute breaks every hour or so).

Yes. More than Bannerlord. I don't have this problem in any other game.

What exactly do you class as hot? These GPUs are designed to safely run at high temps

I saw 85 degrees for the first time.

85 is no problem.
The last time I had a conversation with the technicians who monitor the health of my rig, the time to get worried is when you see temperatures in the 130-140 degree range.

Just so we're on the same page, are we talking Celsius or Fahrenheit because it makes a huge difference?

85 is too high. You want max 83c but try aiming for 80 max.

Either cap your framerate or safely undervolt. I got a 3070 and I tend to hit between 45 and 70, depending on how graphically intense the game is but 85 is pushing overheating
