is 19h into the game - too early for Skalitz return?
Hei everyone, i just recently discovered this masterpiece (KCD) for myself and already got 19h in the game. I just received my 1st horse and did investigation quest with horse slaughtering and Ginger boy.
I am level 8 with 7 in Sword, 7 in Warfare.
i Was thinking about returning in Stalitz to farm items from bandits + i have Scavenger quest there.

Problem is that every time i do fast travel - groups of bandits are killing me. In case i manage to separate 1 bandit - i could easily poke him to death with my Piercer sword :).

Questions:
1) Is it too early for me to return in Skalitz?
2) How would you recommend me to separate bandits from the group?
3) Would you in general recommend to finish all the quests /activities in 1 area before proceeding to next village / town?
4) As i understood maces (bonkers) are end game weapons as they are effective versus heavy armored enemies?

PS, my girl Theresa needs new dress and nice ring.. I need a lot of Groschen ;)

Not quite sure why everyone is so obsessed with going the Skalitz for some loot. Learn lock picking and you can have everything you like, want, or need. Besides that, the best items can't be found in Skalitz by killing that group of bandits repeatedly. For me it's a waist of time, and wealthy traders are to far away to sell the goods.

You can go to Skalitz at any time. Whether or not you will survive is up to the player. If you do have to fight them one at the time it's pretty easy. Wait until one has separated himself from the group, then once noticed move further away from all others. For heavy weapons Henry' strength/skills need to be high enough in order to use them properly.

Just explore the map, enjoy the scenery and do whatever you want. There is no need to rush and in many cases it will only work against you. Henry' skills are only thing that counts.
1. Yes (Unless you like getting stunlocked to death)
2. Become a horse archer or use odd terrain to mess up their pathing (boulders, fences etc..)
3. Not needed but some quest can only be done up to a certain point (in-game cut off points check wiki if unsure
4. Most armor is weak to blunt damage hence why maces are so great. Use your poker if they have an open face helm or if they are just like bandits in rags go ahead and use your sword and get that extra bleeding in.

P.S. You can make bank from alchemy using the money skill (Autobrew). The wiki provides a great tip for leveling up alchemy in the beginning:

Marigold decoction

This potion is one of the fastest to make, alongside the Bowman's Brew, digestion potion, and poison. Even with an alchemy skill level of 0, all you need to do is to add water, 1 Nettle, 2 Marigold, then complete the potion—no boiling, cooling, or grinding required. This makes it the quickest way to level up your alchemy skill.
thanks for the heads up! Will try to explore world naturally and train more.
