Did they managed to get consistency of quest and charakters right?
Hello,

due to the fact there is a bigger Team involved in creating KCD 2: Did they test for consistency?

In KCD 1 I often encountered silly things like beeing allready in the mission where Matthew and Fritz wanted to rob the quary but Matthew was still missing in Merhojed.
Or the Plot around the counterfitted money where you have to bring documents to a Person but my Henry never did and found the mine by accident beforehand which led to the arrest of the man in charge. In the cutscene however Henry talked to the person to which the documents should have been brought like they were old buddys though my Henry never met him beforehand at all (and I missed the whole monestary, obvious).

Regarding Merhojed: After you went through the northern village and did not enter the conversation with Radzig afterwards Merhojed was allready quest triggered though one could only interact after you joined the secend meeting with Radzig and Hanus. And why could one meet Fritz and Matthew allready in Sasau before one finished the quest in Merhojed or the other way around? How did Matthew even got to Mehrojed in the first place and where is Fritz in that (no answer needed, just pointing out the inconsitency).

Comparing the quest triggers I hope they did better in KCD 2 like "Why could I find the man in Charge instead of having a questtrigger so one had to go through the monestary?"

Overall there were several dialogue´s which were completly out of context due to inconsitency´s of this kind which did not drove me nuts but were I thought "Oh well, they did the best with the money and Team they had back then (and it is amazing) but....". So, did they manage to get it right, or better, with bigger budget and Team this time?

And sorry for the mistakes here and there, english is obviously not my native languuage.

Matthew and Mathais are two different people. One went to work in Merhoed and was injured, the other one is with Fitz in Sassau... or elsewhere, if you progressed their side quest.

It's an open world, it's possible to run into and find main quest locations and people by accident. What do you think should happen if Henry accidentally stumbled into counterfeit cave?

Yeah, there is some incongruity here and there, and i feel the same way, they did the best they could. And at the same time, considering the size and content of the game, most of it is minor.

Actually I did but then it was still empty because I haven´t met the knight beforehand. And Merhoujed (was it Matthew or Mathais there?) I did not met the person in question, went to Sasau und Johanka asked for him where my Henry told her he had nothing more than a scratch (as stated, my henry did not met him there as I simply hadn´t found him there).
But I do not want to be harsh as it is obvious they did great regarding the circumstances with KCD 1 back then and I don´t think it is financial reasonable to put an effort 5 years later into this game to fix those things (a shame but comprehensible).

Question is though: How does it looks in KCD 2 regarding consitency? I have started a Hardcore playthrough in KCD 1 now to bridge the time until the first patches for KCD 2 are released and I am just curious about did they handle it better or is it equal to KCD 1?

KCD2 hasn't released yet. There is also a review embargo so reviewers who do have early copy of the game can't share such details of the story or the consistency you are looking for.
But I feel like all the reviewers seem to be very satisfied. So surely, the game did something right.
If you havent met or done any of the quests related to Matthew and Fitz, they are to be found in Sassau at the gate entrance of the Sassou Inn (Inn closest to the Monastery)

I only know of what's in KCD1. I havent been following KCD2, sorry.
Seems like there is just a lot of confusion on your end.

If that comment was ment for me, yea, regarding Matthew and Mathias I do have to apologize but not for the topic as there are many inconsistencys in the game. Even in the first few hours in Skallitz you can encounter some if you want but I am not here to criticize KCD 1 for what it is as it is a beauty in its own.
Just asking if they were able to handle things diffently in the second part with more ressources on their side but I understood - we´ll have to see.

Yeah probably, but no one knows that for sure yet. Give it a week I suppose...
