Im now stuck, I have to track reeky, taken me a while to ask people then check out the 3 spots, also talking to his GF for the 2nd time she says go to the wood cutters camp.
I have the location now on the map, but going there no one to talk to.
as wiki says talk to raspbury, but there is no dialog to speak to him, only to pick pocket him.
how do I find reeky without doing this?

Is he asleep? Some sleeping NPC's ignore Henry until they get up during the day, Also sometimes the talk option is greyed out when the NPC is in the middle of some action, but that usually goes away in a short time.

actually, I havent tried that option.

I talked to Reeky's Dad, who mentioned the Innkeeper
And the Innkeeper deduced a cave hideout and the Mission updated to show 3 locations of caves to explore...

Raspberry usually goes to sleep the moment you arrive at the camp. Wait for an in-game hour and he will reappear.

already done that, cant talk to him atall, only option was to go to where he is supposed to be in the cave, from yt videos, its agood job you dont need to activate the woods man for your target to be there

so... let's start with you already know you need to find reeky

talk to father, girlfriend, and innkeeper - ignore the hidden stash, ask about caves in the area

you seem to be saying you went to the cave (mine) and there's no reeky ?

this is vastly impossible for this quest, unless you have skipped previous steps or your game has bugged out

once you've talked to the folks in town, and they have given you information about sticks and candles and caves, then reeky is in his cave waiting for henry (i've never spoken to raspberry, since he just helps find the right cave)

so, the problem you are having is usually due to checking the wrong cave (mine), or due to some quest bug (by skipping previous steps), or a bug caused by a mod

i just looked around for a link, but the older maps seem to indicate the wrong cave, but it's been a while since i've played through that part, so maybe my memory is wrong - luck

OK, sounds like you found Reeky and can only pickpocket him.... my bad, i thought you were talking about only being able pick pocket Raspberry. But it's that you can only pickpocket Reeky.

This is a timed and scripted event, with a few possible scenarios.

1. IF Henry is a crack shot detective,

A. he will find Reeky alive and kicking, hiding out in the mine North of Ledetchko. In the middle of Henry and Reeky's conversation, the bandits will arrive, hot on Reeky's fragrance. and a battle will ensue.
B. Henry found out about the bandits in search of Reeky, followed them to their hideout and helped them dig 3 holes in the ground, probably. Then he found Reeky alive and kicking and the quest progressed farther.

2. If Henry procrastinated several days, he would find Reeky dying from a mortal wound cuz the bandits found him before Henry. And find out more details of the Neohof incident form Reeky and the quest would progress further.


Since Reeky seems to be dead and Henry has no one to talk to, perhaps you found a bug? You may need to reload to a prior save and try again? not sure...

looking to talk to rasberry, not pickpocket him, I cant talk to him only pickpocket. I had to cheat and use a yt video to find his location, otherwise it would be 1000000% impossible to find him, and lucky I didnt have to talk to him to triger reekys spawing in at the location

This really sucks, I found Reeky but the bandits where already there, I took care of them but reeky was somehow dead when I went in for him. After that I'm stuck, quest wont update. Really dissapointing, I'm playing hardcore so my save is waaaaaaaaaaay back

Took too long, do the quest within a day and you should be good.

As for OP's question, iirc it's better to go to the father > girlfriend > innkeeper > raspberry (and before he starts sleeping early).
