Performance problem on 4080 super

Hey guys, I have a huge problem. I cant get kingdom come to work well at all. I get 15 fps in talmberg on max setting 1440p and around 20 on very high. Even when I change to 1080p lowest i get 60-70 fps.

I played the game before on rx 7900xt no problem, I have wiped all drives so it's not caused by leftover drivers and shouldn't be a problem with other components than GPU. It's working no problem in other games but KCD is the only one working terribly. Worth to mention that utilization of GPU is 99% all the time even on 1080p lowest when CPU sits at 20%, it looks like some glitch in the world caused in old save but I started new game and problem is still there

Specs:

GPU: RTX 4080 super
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x
RAM: 32GB in 4 sticks
PSU: Corsair rm1000x
WIN 11

I have a very similar specs, I have about 100 on ultra but then it dropped to 5-6 during cutscenes. What helped me was to turn off v-sync. Not sure if it'll help in your case though.

That's how it looks like, V-sync turned off. G-Sync turned off as well. Settings very high, going lower on settings makes game playable but this gpu should give more fps. The most interesting thing is that gpu sits at 100% usage all the time

Not having had this problem personally, i can only chip in from random things i noticed while perusing game related info... Like this seems to be an issue that comes up fairly regularly, if not frequently. and it's big enough that Nexusmods.com has quite a few performance related mods for KCD available. I clocked 4 mods that have been updated in the past year. Perhaps one of those would do the trick?

Just type in "performance" in the search box on Nexusmods KCD page. And sort the results by "Last updated"
