Waldensians Quest *spoiler*
While I was looking through another forum about the Waldensians quest, I saw a post about the op convincing Mistress Bauers to flee, only for her to be captured in the end. So when I did the quest just now, I decided to follow her and kinda escort her just to see where she's gonna go out of curiousity. She went out the house, then to the side and climbed up the ladder to the attic/loft. I thought, "Wow, she's grabbing supplies first! Cool!", but when I climbed the ladder after her, I just saw her lay down on the straw mattress and slept again. I immediately thought, "Oh no wonder why :steamsad: :steamfacepalm: ". She have no sense of urgency whatsoever lol, but that also makes sense based on the conversation we just had. So now I'll just be camping up here with her until I've made she'll finally flee before making a report to the Vicar. Just sharing.

I don't think the "they've been captured!" Notice after they've fled is intentional. All other references to that quest later on just say they fled and don't mention them being captured.

i see. so the timer is going until you conclude the quest with hanush then? so its a bug/oversight then that the game just defaults to them being captured if u take too long telling hanush and then later concluded with the heretics escaping when u tell hanush. i told the vicar at once, galloped straight there after convincing her to flee. timer should have stopped there then, why would telling hanush in rattay have anything to do with the outcome?

dont remember if i got any reward
edit: yea think he gave me a longsword? saint something?
I think the timer starts the moment you talk to the Vicar, actually. From what his dialogue implies, he's absolutely convinced that heretics are in the village, and he's DETERMINED to find them. If you can't find the heretics, he'll carry on his own investigation, and he's fanatical enough that he'll consider any dissatisfaction to be heresy. That's why you got the resolution you did; the timer doesn't stop until you report back to Sir Hanush, and doing that other quest ran out the timer. That longsword you got, Saint Michael's sword, is part of the reward for getting the Vicar out of Ushitz, and that's your end-goal for the quest.

yeah, probably. anyway, i spy from the loft, convinced her to flee. told the vicar theres no one there. a while later game says they been arrested, but even so the rest of the quest, when i talk to hanush, is all about that they got away. so did they get away or not? lol. not that it seem to matter one bit
