After Doing DLC "A Woman's Lot" and finishing "The aftermath" infinite screen

So, I finished the DLC, "A Woman's Lot" and right the "aftermath" the screen just keep reloading infinitely. I had to do alt+ctrl + del and closed the game through taskmaster. But no matter how many times I try the game keeps getting stucked realoding. The funny thing is I can hear npcs talking even to Henry and saying hello, but the game keeps reloading and nothing happens. Has anyone solved this?

I also tried reloading right before the end of Aftermath, but sitll the game just keeps reloading and doesn't stop.

windows borderless, vsync on can help with some graphics issues

i've waited up to 2 minutes for things to load - if you hear voices then the game code isn't stuck, just the screen update - i get these too and usually just wait it out...

although i also tend to press keys to see if i can nudge it along - <Esc> and <Space> are rather innocuous in game, so i try those, and switch in and out of game

but mostly i just wait, and either the game recovers or my adhd takes over
