I love this game but come on...
The fast travel needs to be changed in KCD 2.

I'm traveling along. Note pops up. "You are about to be ambushed. Let it happen or keep traveling?"

I'm just going put aside the fact that if I'm about to be ambushed, I would not really have much of a choice in the matter. If the game wants to ambush me, make a background roll and then I get ambushed or I don't.

Okay, let's say I see a few men hiding in bushes a head of me. How many do I detect? What are they wearing? How far ahead? Do they have horses? Etc.

Sometimes there is just one guy. Sometimes there is 12. I'm just saying a little more info would be nice for an informed decision.

don't fast travel
The fast travel needs to be taken out altogether. It's the tool of the lazy man. If you travel manually, you'll see many ambushes from a mile out and can avoid them, or ride right through them. Why would you instead gamble on whether or not you can avoid them?

Some people have real lives to deal with so we don't have time to slow travel everywhere. :)

you can exit the game any time you want
You start off complaining that the game gives you too much info by letting you know there's something ahead, then you complain that the game doesn't give you every single little detail about it.

I think both points are valid. Read slower.

The feature is in the game. I don't want it removed. I'd like it fixed.
It seems to me like fast travel rarely has proper worthwhile locations to travel too. And Henry still has to take time to travel or sometimes even back track to his desired destination. The fact that it's risky and may require Henry to try and fight an ambush is not worth it. One might as well go the long away, avoid the ambush and save on time because he didn't have to fight.

I fast travel on Tulpar, the horse I bought, got the racehorse perk and the military horseshoes. Now I can canter along and enjoy nature and coutnry side, or i can blaze through leaving behind most any ambush so fast the bandits barely have a chance to stay "stand and deliver". Now that's fast travel.

IRL if you're rushing to a destination you wouldn't look out for fine details until it's too late
The gamble is the price to pay for using the comfortable travel option.
No risk, no fun. =D

If you can't afford the three minutes it takes to travel across the whole map by horse, maybe this game is not the right one for you. What I like about KCD the most is that it is kryptonite to the 'instant gratification' crowd. You don't get anything in this game without putting in some effort, and I salute Warhorse for that.
Aside from some scattered enemy spawn points, not much happens in the space between towns. After a while, the ride from Rattay mill to Ledetchko gets a little dull, and those few minutes feel like an eternity.

Well, then te game is not for you, I'd say. The ride from Rattay mill to Ledechko takes 30 seconds. Seriously, is your life that hectic that you can't spare that time? Are you so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up that your life turns to ♥♥♥♥ if you aren't entertained for 30 seconds?

KCD 1 is trash and just a tech demo, listen to the devs talk about 2 all of 2 was supposed to be in the first game, but they failed witch is typical, i mean they tried and ive seen AAAAAA devs do way wors with 20000x the people working on a game. They just abandoned it for KCD2 they don't give a ♥♥♥♥, hell my character gets stuck on pebbles when running or walking and even stairs, fighting multiple NPCs render through the player so u get cheap shotted in the back because the npcs in front push one through you.... They should of fixed 1 first.. but hopefully they took players advice and stuck to what players want not what they want.. because i will get it in hopes its way more optimized then This POS.
