Anyone know why Armor or Clothing Cannot be repaired?
I cannot select the armor (at an armoror) or clothing (at a taylor) to be repaired. I have the option to select the item, but nothing happens. It also gives me the select all function and shows it going around when I hold E, but again nothing happens. Is this a bug? Were it says item to be repaired it has the letters NaNM? I think the game my be broken. Im not very far in.

You have to press X to confirm transaction same as buying stuff. You also have option to haggle for repair price.
There is the blacksmith.
You can repair armor either by hiring a blacksmith NPC or by using Armorer's Kits, which can be purchased from blacksmiths or found as loot.
Talk to a Blacksmith and select the "Repair" option
With your weapons
Try doing it yourself, find an anvile and sharpen it cleans blood off also.
I always did this and rarely needed an armourer.

As for your armor / clothes go to the baths and hire a girl have everything done they will also clean your armor and clothes shave and hair cut.
To repair clothes: Buy a Tailor's Kit for now if the Tailor doesnt offer repair.
Cobbler for your shoes who also sell kits,

I know the where the items are to be repaired, I'm about 20 hours in. I always keep my weapons fully repaired. The issue is you CANNOT select items to be repaired anywhere else. The tailor, the armoror, both will NOT repair items. It says on the screen they will, but when I press E nothing gets selected. NOTHING goes into the basket. The game is bugged and broken. The only thing that works is kits and I cannot use kits to repair ANY of the items I use as my skills are too low. SO, I have a chest FULL of broken, very expensive, good gear. I always have to find a new setup every time stuff breaks. Its not fun.

item is completely broken if it has a red cross on it and generally it cant be repaired. You can try Rattay armorsmith or tailor though otherwise always repair your stuff after every encounter to avoid situations like this.

Some armorsmith can only repair items with more than 60% condition. Some can repair ruined item but it will cost you.

It depends on who the armorer is, because they all have different levels of skill. For instance, the armorer in Rattay? He's skilled, but the BEST armorer's most likely Ota, in Sasau. He might be able fix your armor.
