help me, please
hello, since this morning it has been impossible for me to play due to the server being closed. Having no information on my side I wanted to know if it was due to maintenance or something else?

Perhaps you are one of the new free Epic players? If epic platform is down can you not still play your games? Go into the game folder itself and see if the game will launch just from the .exe sometimes it works, most times no.

EDIT: epic launches for me and I can play a game there, so not that... Maybe try to restart your computer first...

This game itself doesn't rely on servers. Steam does, but you do not show Steam ownership (which doesn't necessarily mean you don't given the new Hide Game feature). GoG purchases shouldn't have this issue.

What is the exact message?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Are we talking about KCD? if so, maybe try disabling cloud sync

it should be well known that anyone using cloud saves or overlays should disable all that stuff before asking about an offline game being broken

You can start KCD with No Internet Connection - there should be no "server" that impacts the game's operation

So, this is at least a "Steam Customer Service" problem related to their default installation that enables cloud saving options (which is recommended to be disabled)

i hope the problem resolves well for you, but it's not the game

but just to be sure, you should remove all mods and use Steam's installation management tools to re-verify your installation - good luck

Except they appear not to own the game on steam... just saying...
More likely OP is one of the free epic gamers ¯\(°_o)/¯

Epic Game problem should require a Epic Games solution.

It is funny, people who buy or get things for free on EGS run to us on Steam to help them, because EGS doesn't have the support system to actually help their own customers.

And ? If I come to ask for help it’s only because nothing has worked. And the game gave no indication of this problem. I ended up having to uninstall and reinstall the game to get it to work.

Just get off this bizarre corporate high-horse, like you steam drones are somehow entitled to only use steam forum. Wake up, everyone posting here has a steam account and owns games here.
