Or is there a way to getrr an extra area for favored items to put into your storeebox?

Your chest in miller's house near rattay is connected to the general storage, as you play further you'll get access to similar chests with same shared storage, you also get access to them when you rent rooms in taverns.

after the prologue, the special shared storage chest becomes available

there is are also a few independent storage chests throughout the realm that Henry can freely access and will never be emptied, but each chest is independent and not part of any shared storage inventory

one such chest is located in the living area of Henry's parent's house in Skalitz (where the nails were stored) - any inventory in this chest will survive from the prologue into the main portion of the game

But where do i find 2 such chests near each other where i could come by regulary?
I'd like to have a chest for supperrior gear and another for "flavor gear"

Though if we could favor some items that would make things easier. Generally it's to avoid running around with a heavy and a light set of gear.

the answer you seek is to rent several nights (infinite amount stay) in an inn, and then you will have a box to store items. plus "several nights" is infinite stay so never need to buy it again to keep it.

i choose to rent a room in rattay inn and move out of the millers house.

Why don't you put heavy/unneeded gear in the chest and keep the rest on your horse?

In addition to the chest in Henry's house in Skalitz, there's also one in the house between Merhojed and Rovna at the base of the hill where the road zig-zigs down from Merhojed. Like the chest in Skalitz, it's a stand alone chest and is not connected to the global inventory but it also doesn't reset upon reloading a save so is safe to store possessions in.

Curious shhould I assume that the big chest outside of Skalitz in the "factory" near a nest is reseting?
Placed a lot of my pree Rattay stuff in that one and could run away and come back to it ( also usesd some boxes eearlier but this one was the eassy onee to findd again)
Luckily I don't think it wass stuff of high value. (for late game)

Well in order to answer your question, I'd have to know which chest it is in the factory. First though, I'd have to know what you mean by "factory".

Well in order to answer your question, I'd have to know which chest it is in the factory. First though, I'd have to know what you mean by "factory".

I mean the place outside of the town walls where Fritz and Mathew is hanging out (when you play as Theresa) where Bandits take residens when Henry rerturns to burry his parents. There's a big Chest under a roof where i believe the Bandits were sleeping. (Though I nevere saw them there, I generally saw them at the 3 gates and at the fireplace)

As for chests, it's really best to just store your gear to the proper chests like the ones at the inn in your room and any chest that you own like the one in Rattay. I believe most but not all chests respawn after a certain amount of time.

You could try using the chest in your own house in Skalitz as a temporary storage as I don't think items inside it disappear but I don't think it's worth the hassle to fight all the bandits that respawn in Skalitz every few days as they do more harm than good to you than good if you're still very early ingame just to store some items. They're a good way to practice and make more money though once you can handle them already.

Just run around, kills some bandits or Cumans that you can handle and sell their stuff (best just take the ones that sells a lot rather than everything) till you get enough gold to purchase a proper saddle (and horse if you want) and keep all the gear that you need to use on the horse and the rest goes to your universal storage box.

FYI, some chest's content doesn't change for a long time, you can store things in there and come back later. However, since money isn't a issue once you know where to loot. The importance of universal chest is mostly for other non-essential uses after while.

If you buy a couple nights at any inn it becomes a permanent bed you can use with storage as well
