so i cant really share what you claim here.
unfortunately i cannot post screenshots here. but if you google every single bug i described, you will find other posters who had the same problem before. what made you so hurt in your popo that you need to say that i claim these things?
i only see these bugs mentioned 2018 and lower
ignore the sicophants, they do nothing else all day but nest in this forum to abuse anyone critical of warhorse studios. they have been here for years using more than one account.
now on the issue of bugs. this game is extremely buggy.
if you played and got used to other games which unlike KCD are well made
then you notice the bugs more and the low quality unfinished product of kcd
there is no way to avoid the bugs
other than load a previous save game ( maybe download infinite save game mod from nexus) but in this game you will see bugs everywhere . if you want to continue the game despite various major flaws of the game then grit teeth and bear the bugs there is nothing else can be done about them. this game is still this way after years of sale.
maybe you will be lucky and have prolonged periods without a bug or too obvious bug.
There is no 'magic' solution, I strongly suggest you back up or just move your current buggy save file(s) outside the save folder, reboot system and try restarting the game from beginning. I have seen this before, for whatever reason bugs can get baked into the save file and only a complete new restart gets rid of them. This is the case for all script-heavy games (think BGS titles and bugginess). Scripts are fragile.
Do this only if you like the game and see it's potential for enjoyment. It is a good game, perhaps even great but that is subjective. If starting over works you might as well delete those old save files because nothing can repair them.
thank you very much sir, finally an answer i was looking for. i was hoping that there would be a mod to fix the bugs like most bethesda or other games have. but since i couldn't find anything i tried my luck here.
i didn't expect to attract the council of clowns and white-knighting fanboys here who think just because they didnt have the bugs others cannot possibly have them...
i continued a bit with the story and had to go on a hunt with hans. even though i was on foot and he on a horse i was 3 times faster than him, constantly having to wait for him. at one point he stopped and when i approached him he would just repeat the line that i am too slow over and over again. i tried pushing him but he did not unstuck. when i hit the horse hans started to attack me and i died. when i realised that i had to start the whole day over again, i just uninstalled the game. i can't be bothered anymore.
I disagree with zil, reloading old save files will not work, only delay the inevitable. Maybe someday you will give KCD another try, and with a new game start (see my post^) you will likely play the game we all very much enjoyed, several times.
Dont get mad at me you have a potato for a PC.
Nobody else has the issues you are claiming, clearly its on your end. "Waaaaaah my $20 toaster cant play this game BAD GAME BAD GAME"
Be mad at yourself for not getting a job to pay for a working pc

Are you new to PC gaming by any chance? If so, I can understand the reasoning behind your comment. Having an inferior PC has nothing to do with quest scripts not working in a video game. Having an inferior PC causes stuttering, low FPS, longer load times and maybe crashes if you run out of RAM. Or the game just refuses to start if the PC is too old.
In some cases when running very old games, the opposite happens. If your PC is too strong, then your FPS gets too high and things can break. Unreal Tournament will run at super speed, in a fast forward mode when at very high frame rates. Enemies become invulnerable in Project Nomads at very high frame rates. You sometimes need to limit your FPS when playing older titles.
So I can't help but wonder there might be an issue with your PC or windows installation as I also see in your post history you complain a lot about weird bugs and glitches in pretty much every game you post about.
Some things you should definitely try imo:
- verify the games you have an issue with in Steam to make sure the installation went ok (right click the game in the list of games in your Steam library, pick 'installed files' and then 'verify integrity of game files')
- update the drivers of your graphics card
- check your antivirus/firewall that it doesn't have important files in quarantine
- run DISM and Sfc/scannow to fix any errors in your windows installation ( https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-dism-command-line-utility-repair-windows-10-image )
haha you should have paid for surgery on your brain damage instead of a new pc
