Skipping and failing Pestilence quest

I accidently failed the quest Pestilence by not starting it in time. Once I got around to Merhojed the whole issue "solved" itself. However I am worried that I might have screwed up something down the line.

Do I miss out on important npcs? Do some achievements become unobtainable now?

I could go back several in-game days, but i'd rather not do all I did during that time again. Also where is Matthias supposed to be, if the quest resolves like that? I can't find him.

there's an achievement to cure all sick in Merhojed so there's one you missed.. nothing more really, things can progress fine except you'll have wrecked your rep with some ppl

Play The Madonna of Sasau get the good ending where she is forgiven and you will get your answers with Matthias.

@vine I have that one from a previous playthrough.
@Jaunitta I don't quite understand. Do you mean that I learn about where Matthias is in that quest or did I mess the quest up by failing Pestilence?
