Sniper Achievement

Hey I want to complete sniper achievement. I currently have 50/29 bow headshot enemy kills.

I found a bandit camp. I kill 3-4 of them with headshots and die, the gamesave drops me to when I found the bandit camp. I do it again.

My question is: can i unlock the achievement after killing those bandits 21 times or it wont count towards the achievement?

As far as I know, you can't reload a savegame and do it again to stack up your kills. It gets recorded in your ingame stats that shows how many headshots you've done like how the picking herb achievement is done. Now that was a hassle.

If you die the game loads an older save, so any progress after that is lost. This includes your kills, and resets the counter to a lower value from the save. Which you can actually see after you were killed, the counter will not include latest head shots. If you want to complete it you can go to Talmberg, there are quite a few Cumans and bandits in the forest. Other then that, you will encounter many of them during game play, and eventually get the achievement.
