Does this game have a magic system?
Or is it more realism based? I find games in this style boring if they lack a magic system, so does this have one? Its why I haven't tried it yet.

Well, there's a bit of magic involved in rolling all 1 dice in the first round.
Realism based. Instead of magic you have alchemy / chemistry. You need to learn how to read first, then get working on your "potion" skills. I find it challenging but the environment is fantastic and unmatched. I wish there was a "better" open world RPG like this one.

Alchemy/chemsity is close enough to magic for the time period the game takes place in I suppose.

This game is realism based. It does not have the "magic" alchemy / chemistry - its just potion brewing, which is... based on realism.

It's not magic at all back then that was medicine making.

It's not the potion brewing ur thinking it is. Although there are some potions that give u buffs to like strength agility ect

No, this game doesn't have a magic system. This is a game that largely prides itself on "historical accuracy". A large part of the game is focused on immersing and grounding you into the world of 1403 medieval Bohemia.

i know you said that RPG's without magic is boring to you but I hope you give this game a shot because it is one of the most immersive games I've played. The game regularly goes on sale for very cheap. Black Friday is coming up so there is a good chance it might be on a sale soon. Edit: didn't realize the game was on sale NOW.

This game was literally crowed funded to try to be as realistic, or historically correct more likely, as a game can be. No. This is not a fantasy game.

100% realistic, no magic or fantasy

The only "magic" is people believing in witchcraft that is suggested to be misunderstanding someone or something and people acting out of awe and/or fear of it.

Magic combat is basic compared to the combat system of KCD/KCD2. There's no simple point-and-cast in KCD/KCD2. It's all very reactive for both player and enemies.

If you prefer simple (boring) point-and-cast combat that doesn't fully engage the player directly into the combat, this game is not for you.

That's a good one! I really need to start a fresh run before the year is up.
