Uzhitz reputation
The only option to raise is Uzhitz villagers and they are at 51%. I went to every merchant and "top off" a transaction with them. Waited 8 hours (web says to wait 8) and nothing changed. Waited another 10 hours and nothing changed. What's the deal here? I'm trying to get the reputation achievement.

This is just getting stupid. I "top-up" every person in Uzhitz that can buy/sell plus I pay 269 to the church then leave and go to Merjohed (sp?) and do the same thing, then Ledetchko (sp?) and do the same thing. (the 3 towns below 80) Go to Rattay, win another tournament, sleep at the Mill where Theresa lives, wake up and check reputation and NO CHANGE. Does anyone have a PROVEN way to raise reputation?? I just went back to Ledetchko and bought 10 carrots, one at a time with "top-up" and the Trader's rep went from 59 to 59, so the "how to" about doing transactions until they increase 8-10 points, then leave and wait 8 hours is BS.

Do quests the right way and you'll be fine.

the only thing I have found to work raising reputation there is losing at dice.'

When you say 'work with the Vicar effectively'- how exactly? I helped him and I got bad relations

You know, "work with". As in, "Let me show you the great view from the top of the bell tower, oh your grace! Watch your step here at the top, you wouldn't wan to . . . WHOA!!!! Well golly. . . . shame how these accidents happen."

I've been wandering around Uzhitz for quite a while and managed to run into two conflicts but they were bandits vs. cumans. I did let a dude win at dice a few times, so I guess I'll leave the area and come back later to see if it made any difference. BTW the "pay indulgence" at churches seems to be game-wide, not just the local area. I finished Pribyslavitz, have 100 rep and the "pay indulgence" was over 500 grochen in the church that I just completed. Anyway, this is a pain, time-sink.

Agreed, pretty awful. I spent like 30-40 minutes running around Uzhitz trading stuff around then i held E for longer robbing the mercant instead of starting transaction with him. He went to the guards immediately ruining the whole progress, which was like 2 points. Pain in the ass

well, that was your own fault then.
but its not like you must have top reputation to beat the game.
you want the achievement, put the needed work in it.

no pain no gain
