Is it not possible that he just doesn't want sex in this particular game? Why should he be obligated to keep sexual content in his own personal copy just because he's played games with sex in them in the past?
I can't speak for OP, but for myself personally, all the sex just gets tiresome after a while. It seems like ever since Mass Effect, more and more games are including sex simply for the sake of sex. And there are sexual themes everywhere even outside of entertainment.
If you have or see a problem with this game where a child wouldn't be able to play it, you need to seek some professional help.
People don't seem to have issues with their children playing GTAV or RDR2, yet you would see a problem with KCD; LOL. Course they need to understand this kind of gameplay also. If they can figure out Minecraft all on their own, they should find this game easy. Probably the only annoying part about KCD is some of the combat situations, especially if encountered very early on.
Why is this even an issue?
Unlike some games that do not allow skip cut-scene on first play-throughs; KCD does, press and hold ESC to skip if needed in order to skip a cut-scene. Compared to the full gameplay itself as a whole, there is maybe 0.01% of even something remotely resembling "sex scene" content, and again its in the form of skippable video clips. Inside the realm of actual gameplay, you can not remove anyones clothing to where bare body parts are shown. As they actually do not exist. For example if you play as Theresa and remove all her clothing you still have a full length under garment on which is part of the 3d model itself. Another example of this is, playing as Theresa and all clothing removed, then sprint down a road full speed and while doing so press ALT+F2 to enter NVIDIA Ansel camera mode for taking 3rd person screenshots and such; try to time it so she has her legs in full stride, you will see clearly the 3d model does not even have full legs, a few inches above the knee, the 3d model is invisible. It is slightly more detailed for male player and characters, but not much. Does not even allow to show a males full chest. Like we are able to see in games such as Red Dead 2 for example.
The most you might see is a female breast and male butt; for a total running time of 8 seconds in the entire game; (the shown full breasts is much less then that 8 secs btw) when Henry and Theresa have sex in the barn at the Mill.
The only other "sex" parts, which don't show anything at all really since it's the audio that suggests such a thing took place, would be:
> Henry & Stephanie making out in her room
> The drunk night at church barn
> and the audio that can be heard if you select such option at Bathhouse, which suggests Henry got some special service from a female. You never have to pick that option; you can just pick Bath + Heal Wounds + Launder Clothes.
Aside from these there is basically nothing like that in this game.
If you play A Woman's Lot there are some more suggested stuff; but most of it is again, at or less then PG13 stuff. Like Henry and Theresa getting a little sweet on one another and flirtatious when Theresa goes to bring Henry a cold beer from Bianca.
You don't even have to do that. From the mill, if Theresa sleeps downstairs, when she gets up at around 9 am, she goes up the ladder to the loft to change. If you follow too closely and "accidentally" look up as she climes the ladder, then you will also see only the lower legs which cut off and the blank circle where the head sits on top of the body.
Also after you have finished the "courtship" quest and had the barn animation. I have noticed that you can still go for walks with Theresa. Now on one of the walks, she asks what Henry is thinking and he says something and her response is something about her with no clothes on. Then you see from the map view they are moving on the map and then you see the loading symbol and then nothing. Then they are back outside the mill. Is there a scene missing or what because it seems odd that particular event.
Just a simple mod that replaces the character models would be nice.
There are three quest-related nude scenes that can ALL be completely avoided
And the cleaning Henry gets at the "Baths" is completely selectable.
Thus, there are No Required Nude Scenes - at all.
Any information to the contrary is simply wrong.
Therefore, there is No Need to Mod it Out, because you must Choose to Participate.
None in the main story?
in the main story, there is a part of a quest step in which if you choose the path to get drunk and disorderly, then that path will lead to some scenes (of being drunk and disorderly and passionate)
however, you can Choose to Not do that, and instead use one of the other paths to success - for that particular quest step i believe there are 4 ways to complete it (and get the information Henry seeks)
so, it's a choice, not mandatory
but as others have noted - when offered a night of drunken debauchery, especially in a video game, many choose to explore the option (and some my be completely unaware of all other choices that don't include the nudity)
the other two NPC encounters involving romance are related to side quest activity for the two primary females - and just note that a Lady may take No for an answer, but a Mill Wench will not
There is no such thing because the 3d models DO NOT HAVE exposed body parts. The part that had 8 secs of nudity is A VIDEO, which you can skip.
now that's what I call epic. Look at how far we've evolved as a species! Who needs to wield a sword in defense of their life when you can just left click your mouse and make it all disappear!
Now the game will have none of the content you dislike. its all optional. The closest thing to nudity that you cannot skip is the image of someone who was torchered and mangled for the sake of sending a message. But there really isn't any parts showing so to speak.
This game isn't like the witcher series where accidental sex is a thing. its telegraphed pretty well and if you wish to avoid it, there is no need for a mod. Just don't play Henry like a slut and you will be fine.
Alright thanks.
