How to get doggo?

I know its in a woman's lot but I don't really feel like playing the quest part. I heard it's depressing and I got real life for that.

Depressing? Your whole village gets slaughtered at the start but you can't bring yourself to play a DLC because of real life? Wow! The DLC is quite wholesome in the long term. Just play it.

I honestly don't remember. I heard the grumpy nurse lady was burn't for witch craft or something. Regardless, can I easily get doggo without playing the quest?

It's been years since I played but I think you can get the dog without completing the whole quest. You do have to start it though.

Yeah, as the other guy said, you can get the dog without having to resort to playing the story for the dlc. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the story for womans lot. It was more great KCD story-telling. If you play on hardmode it can be frustrating though. Especially if you run out of Savior Schnapps.

Edit: You just have to ask Theresa about the dog in a dialogue and she will give him to you.
